The Tax Shop is a professional services franchise group which provides an opportunity for individuals and
corporate entities to deal with their tax, insurance, statutory and related affairs without complicated and
expensive consultations. Our aim is to provide services which are cheap, convenient, quick and consistent throughout South Africa. The Tax Shop has experienced phenomenal growth over the last two years and continues to expand across the nation. The following services are currently offered (with new services constantly being added as fresh business opportunities are identified):

1. Taxation services
Registration for income tax (including provisional tax), employees tax, unemployment insurance (uif), skills development levies (sdl) and valued added tax (vat). Completion and submission of tax returns for the aforementioned taxes. Deregistration from the aforementioned taxes. Obtaining tax clearance certificates. Negotiation of tax directives. Investigation into outstanding taxes. Liaison with SARS to negotiate repayment plans, obtaining discounts and correcting or undoing SARS errors. Assisting clients with tax claims. Restructuring of salary packages with the purpose of saving tax. General tax advice and much more.

2. Statutory services
Registration of close corporations and companies with CIPRO, amendments such as changes in entity name, directors, shareholders, registered addresses etc, as well as submission of annual returns (now a compulsory requirement for companies and close corporations).

3. Payroll services
Online payroll services offered to employers to maintain legal payrolls which are fully tax-compliant and able to facilitate recording and payment of salaries and wages as well as submission of employees’ taxes to SARS

4. BEE services
Black economic empowerment services including ratings certificates and scorecards.

5. Insurance services
Life insurance and short-term business and asset insurance. Also, investment products such as endowments and retirement annuity funds are offered.

6. Miscellaneous services
Other minor services are also offered. For example, our online logbook system provides a quick and mobile solution for taxpayers to easily record their travel.
