The business is run on an adapted recruitment model where the franchisee plays the role of recruiting and placing safe drivers with families. Following the implementation of Soccermom’s innovative business initiative, and its success in helping many families with transport throughout Gauteng, the company is looking to expand its business into the rest of South Africa. We have already successfully franchised the Pretoria, Cape Town and Johannesburg branches. Soccermom is now offering the opportunity to a potential franchisee’s to own and manage a successful Soccermom franchise in a secondary town in South Africa. The ideal franchisee would be a professional, hard working and enthusiastic entrepreneur, who has family ideals at a high of priority, and has a passion for children. | Background/History of the Business | |||||||||
Soccermom cc was established in August 2006. Soccermom was started by Honorata Saar, who had left the corporate environment to complete her Masters degree studies in marketing. Honorata noticed the need for reliable one on one transport for families with working parents. Many families could not afford an au pair or their children were too old, and the driving services provided by individual students were not correctly administrated. The gap in the market was spotted and the concept of Soccermom was born. Soccermom has grown from a “garage” start up to a reputable company serving satisfied clients throughout Gauteng. The business is now franchised with successful franchises running in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town. |

Full training is available, a full operations toolkit and training manual, franchise agreement and online system are also included. Soccermom will provide 1 week’s training at the Soccermom head office in Pretoria together with continued guidance and teamwork with its franchisees. |
