Founded in 2001 by Jannie van Heerden, Simple Simon Pies quickly earned themselves a reputation for being the pie shop of choice, having the tastiest freshest pies available in South Africa. At simple simon pies we aim to give our Franchisees the best return on their money in the fast food industry. We offer a turnkey operation and take immense pride in our existing shops and each shop that is opened is the end of years of experience, months of research and detailed planning. At head office we have a long term commitment to each and every Franchisee and we will purposely strive to protect the interest of our Franchisees. |

| The founder of simple simon pies, Jannie, started his career as an agriculturist after studying at Elsenburg in viticulture, winemaking and horticulture. Going back to his roots, being the culinary arts, Jannie became involved in the pie industry on the production and baking side for 4 years. After these 4 years he became involved in a managerial capacity in the pie production and baking industry where he became acquainted with the development of different types of pies and the production thereof. At the end of 2001 Jannie decided to start his own pie franchise. The first shop was established in January 2002 and immediately was a great success. RANGE OF PRODUCTS |

| Training | |||||||||||
| All Franchisees must undergo Initial Training so as to ensure they are adequately trained in the operation of the franchised business. The Initial Training is conducted at the new Franchisees store and lasts approximately 3 to 4 weeks. It is split into two parts namely Franchise Operations and Product Training. During the training course the franchisee will also be issued two manuals that cover both the Franchise Operations and the Product Training.
