Silkon Paints first started as a retail outlet buying paint from various sources. We decided to manufacture our own paint to give our customers a better deal. Ivon Pretorius joined our company to help formulate the various paints. Ivon worked in Plascon’s formulation laboratory for 14 years. He also spent several years at Dulux Paint.
