Scooters Pizza started when a group of likeminded professional food and franchise guys got together and analyzed the existing South African delivery and take out pizza market. After extensive analysis of the market, and with knowledge of existing conditions, they decided that the market was ripe to establish a new brand in this fast growing lucrative market. This new brand would have to be operationally sound and very marketing driven. The new company would have to operate as a highly ethical business due to many negative perceptions about franchising in the market place. This gave birth to Scooters Pizza.
