MLM or multi-level marketing networks such as GNLD or Herbal Life allow members to sign up and purchase goods at a discounted price which they can then re-sell to friends//family/colleagues etc at the recommended retail price and make a profit.

The selling doesn’t stop there. Each member is then encouraged to create a "downline" and recruit new members to promote and sell the same products to other consumers (friends, family, acquaintances). You would then earn profits on your own sales as well as a small percentage of profits on the sales of your downline and possibly even special bonuses for reaching certain sales goals.

As your downline increases, you earning potential becomes greater as you start to earn money from the sales of other members in your team. But do not be fooled, many people fail at this type of business. Ask any successful MLM business owner about what it takes to succeed and they will say without doubt that you need to work hard and sell, sell, sell.
